what would aliens think of us

Oh what would aliens think of us
Would they adore our segmented bus
How would they feel about corporation greed
And how would they view our people in need

Would they like Trump say put up a wall
Forcing through bills, ignoring all calls
As calls for justice fall upon death ears
And calls for compassion are met with toff jeers

Order, order, order you say
Compassionate lefties shall not win the day
For we have been chosen and it's our birthright
To steer our own ship and pick any fight

We shan't feel the backlash, peasants our buffer
We shall dine lavish, on our shameless supper
For unlike you, we're born to be better
By the sword or the book we own every letter-

-We also own you, it's in the fine print
The structure's in place, must never relent
We're basically gods, so kneel before us
And shuffle along to your place on the bus.

Empathy seldom a quality lauded
Gluttony, spite and greed are applauded
That's just the script, so don't make a fuss
Who cares what aliens think of us...
