A poem for Stubert, RIP mate :-)

The heart of a lion, headstrong as fuck
soft as a feather and strong as a truck
Independently minded, jack of all trades

Master of many, devoid of charades

Genuine, honest, a rare old school gent
for those that knew him he was heaven sent
Mender of items, of electrics and wood
You fixed me les paul that ol' solder did good.

Expecting nothing, rewarded with Jack
A litre I threw you to give something back
I'll ne'er forget the smile as you told me "no need"
But a reward was required for such a good deed

For that's who you were, helpful and kind
touched are the lives of us all left behind
Tomorrow we send you on your final journey
this evening I sit here all tearful and gurney.

Lucky are we to have felt that pure light
of an old school gent that steered his ship right
And what a galleon, majestic and modest
To have know such a vessel I feel truly blessed.
